Those women stood shocked outside the gate for what they had just seen Charles act.

They were all stupefied and surprised over what they were seeing.

“Wasn't he your useless poor son-in-law who can't even bat away mosquitoes? How come is he being so powerful over these ruthless men? He is even commanding their respect!" Mrs Christine asked Mrs Rose in shock.

“Yes, he is and I know who can even do more than what you have seen him do”, she replied.

She was the only person among those women who was never surprised to have seen Charles act in such capacity. She had earlier watched him command respect from the Chief Security Officer of Wales City, Mr Stone, some few hours ago.
