Chapter 162-The Buried Treasure of the Past
Callie was shocked when she realized that the metal box, the size of a one-door fridge, contained a lot of gold bars. She had never seen so much gold before.

“Well done, Callie. Now take all the gold and deliver it to me. If you lose even one kilo, you'll find Cedric in pieces,” Samantha threatened, making Callie swallow hard as her heart pounded.

“I understand,” Callie replied, still pointing her phone screen at the pile of gold bars in the safe.

Jacob saw what Callie did as she placed the gold on the ground. However, when she was about to pick up the other gold, suddenly, the safe door just closed. However, this time the door was different. Double doors appeared from the left and right sides of the safe's frame. Callie was confused, even though the key was still stuck in the hole. Callie tried turning the key again, but the door didn't open.

“You ruined my safe, Callie!” yelled Samantha in a rage, though she couldn't see her face, only the darkness on her screen.
