Chapter 9

Isabelle and Sebastien took the check and walked out of his office. When they got to the gate they saw Miranda there sulking beside her car.

“You! The both of you! How can I be humiliated because of the two of you! I promise you both will pay for this. I'll tell grandfather and everyone that you both watched Romero beat me up!”

Isabelle was shocked at her outburst, where they were supposed to stop Romero from beating her up. Would she have done the same if it was the other way round.

“Oh shut up! Would you have done the same if it was the other way round?” Sebastien asked calmly, he knew the answer should be no after all she was mocking them and wished they had gotten beaten up by Romero.
