Chapter 56 : The anticipated meeting

Andrew's body shook as if he had been gripped by the worst cold of his life.

He tried to speak, but no words could escape him.

“So it had all been for nothing” he thought.

The family had spent millions of dollars that they didn't have, just to get to this very moment, and yet in the very end… It had all gone to waste.

Andrew had never felt like more of a failure in his entire life.

He wanted to fall to his knees and plead with Michael to change his mind. If that was what it would take to fix this, he was willing to do it.

But deep down he knew it wouldn't work, all it would do was rid him of the little ounce of pride he had left.

Truly, there was no way out of this, all hope was lost.

“Welp, it was nice talking to y'all, but I am bored now, so I'm gonna get the hell out of here” said Michael, as he drained his champagne glass for the final time, and stood up to leave.

Andrew was silent, even as Michael walked away from them, he said nothing, and just let it happen.

Louis, on the other
