Past-Threat

Diana and her group were reunited at Haikyu's place. Simp, Boston, and Tommy were sitting on the couch. Rose occupied a chair, while Haikyu sat at the edge of the couch. Tinni stood leaning against the wall, while Diana stood in the middle of them, her hair wild and fuzzy like a witch's."

Diana shouted at Rose and Haikyu, "Why did you invite him to dinner? Fucking ass."

Tommy said coolly, "Darling, why did you invite all of us in the first place?"

Diana moved closer, curling her lips, "Did I invite you? Ass."

Tommy glanced at Rose, who responded, "What?"

Haikyu stood up and said, "Today, her fiance invited me and her whole group to dinner. So, who wants to go?"

Tinni remarked, "Just that?"

Haikyu looked at Tinni and said, "Why? Because you were busy beating other asses? Running on those streets with a knife in hand."

Tinni smiled and replied, "At least I don't beat other fiancee's ass."

Haikyu said to Tinni, "Here, you're not that street Tinni who listens to his words and works. Here, you're a Tinni who listens to our words and works."

Simp said with a tired voice, "This is why we came here? You know I left the big soccer match."

Boston added, "I have to check my students' exam papers. I can't waste time here."

Diana sat on the floor and said to her group, "DK and I mistakenly went to the hunter's house."

Boston asked, "Hunter?"

Simp said, "Who's Hunter? Your new money bank?"

Tommy slowly started to laugh crazily. "You mean Dunter?"

Rose looked towards Tinni and asked, "Did he pay for your car damage?"

Tinni smirked.

Tommy reminded, "That wasn't even damage if I recall correctly. It was just our way to bully him."

Boston said, "So nothing has changed till now. Why are we digging up the past?"

Tinni said, "Because we didn't just bully at that time, we tortured. Actually, not 'we', just her."

Diana was frustrated. She shouted, "Fucking shut up! DK is a police officer. He's an investigator. That Dunter has filed many complaints, but at that time we had Peter. But now it's DK. What if he sees it?"

Diana started to laugh, laughing crazily. "Nothing has changed, right? Wish it was just a nightmare."

Rose also began to laugh and said, "Nothing has changed, neither our group nor Boston's hair."

Boston punched the couch and said, "Don't talk about my hair."

Rose replied, "Are you in charge today too? Since you always take pills dreaming to get back your hair."

Tommy added, "Nothing has changed. Let's all cool down."

Tommy said, "I know everything, since you guys used to call me a black cobra."

Simp asked, "How do you remember everything? About that shit Dunter."

Tommy slowly looked towards the ceiling and said with a smirk, "Because I used to like him, but of my color he was not attracted."

Counting the drop that fell from my eyes,

Counting the stars that I named with my wish,

Counting my mistake to fix it,

Counting the holy stone that I pray to be

.free.

Never felt the happiness that money could bring, but felt those summer sun that made my eyes bleam.

Never saw the life that I had to deserve,

But felt every hatred even if it's too much.

"THREAT"

"At the police station, Dunter was sitting inside, visibly distraught. A man approached him and asked, "What happened to you?"

Dunter, broken and filled with sadness and anger, replied, "Sir, why don't you ask your own son?"

The man, identified as Sir, responded, "Boston told me it was just an accident, since you were the one who invited to your house for a party."

Dunter showed his burnt hand, injured from contact with a hot induction stove, and said, "So it was just an accident, right?"

Sir retorted, "Boston told me that you slipped and accidentally burned your hand on the stove. Because of you, my son had to come to the station yesterday. Because of you! You were the one who drove the car without a license and damaged his friend's car."

Dunter argued, "Why are you only listening to his words and ignoring mine? His friend also had no license."

Sir replied loudly, "Are you suggesting that he's lying to his own father, to his teacher?"

The whole station echoed with his voice, and officers approached them.

Sir muttered quietly, "People from the slums are crazy."

An officer intervened, "What's the problem, gentlemen?"

After some hours, Dunter was walking uphill towards his house, lost in thought. "I didn't invite them... they just forced me to invite them since they know I live alone... but how did they know my house? Nobody knows my house, not even my mother... Today was worse than before... I realized today that I have no friends, I was just their time pass... Isn't a friend supposed to help when in need?"

Later, at school, as he was heading to his class, a hand came to his shoulder. When he turned back, it was Tinni. Tinni asked, "Where is my money?" Dunter replied, "What money?" Tinni shouted, "Where's my money?" He started to slap Dunter, not just once, but continuously. The force of the slaps pushed Dunter into the classroom, while the whole class watched in shock. His friends looked on, doing nothing, while Tinni continued to slap him. Tinni shouted, "Why doesn't talking nicely get into your head? If I don't get the money tomorrow, then... then I don't even know who you become. "

After many rotation of the clock.

In the dark of the night, Dunter lay on his back, staring at the ceiling. "I have no choice. I can't do anything. Neither can I die nor can I save myself. I have only one thing I can do, only one thing I can rely on... Pray. It is said that karma is real. I hope it is. I can't do anything more than rely on karma in the end."

[Present]

DK found himself on the highway, surrounded by woods. He brought his car to a halt and then wrote in his diary, "He had no other choice but to believe in praying to God. It was the only thing he could do. He had no one in his life, just like today. But at some point, the world takes a turn in his life that he'll stop believing."

Closing his diary, he started driving again, his gaze lingering on his burned hand. "It's like the same story we read in school. The axe doesn't know which tree it cut today or how many it cut, but the tree remembers the axe until its breath starts to stop, until its mind starts to collapse."

After hours of driving, he arrived at a big mansion by the ocean. Dressed in a black suit and wearing sunglasses, he approached the main door and rang the bell. After some time, An old lady greeted him when the door opened, asking, "Who are you, gentlemen?" DK retrieved his purse from his pocket and showed his police ID to the lady.

Understanding, she invited him inside. Seated on the couch, DK said, "We have to reopen the closed box." Confused, the lady asked, "I don't understand?" DK explained, "The box you could never forget. It's about that old case. We have to reopen it."

The lady's face lit up, and she grabbed DK's hand, saying, "I really want to... I-I really want that to happen." DK reassured her, "I know how you feel. Because that case is filled with curiosity. But the case closed within a year, so fast, calling it a suicide."

The lady, her anger evident, exclaimed, "Suicide... but the body is missing, right? I think even the police are involved in this. I can't forgive them, especially that police officer... I still remember his name... Peter."

After half an hour, the lady and DK concluded their conversation. DK resumed driving on the highway, surrounded by woods. He glanced towards the passenger seat, where a watch lay inside an investigative plastic cover. A faint smile graced his face as he murmured, "You are my Glory."

As the sun set, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, DK continued driving on the highway, enjoying the beauty of the sunset amidst the surrounding woods.

Eventually, he arrived at his mansion, where he and Diana resided. Tonight, DK had plans for dinner with Diana's group.

As DK entered the mansion, he spotted Diana bustling in the kitchen with the personal chef. He walked over to her and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Already working?" he inquired.

Diana nodded, a hint of exhaustion in her eyes. "Since my friend is coming, I have to," she explained.

DK then asked, "Where's my blazer that I gave you before?"

After a moment of thought, Diana replied, "Oh, it went to the laundry room."

"Okay, thanks," DK acknowledged. "I'll come after freshening up."

Leaving Diana to her tasks in the kitchen, DK made his way to the laundry room, a smile playing on his lips and a glow on his face.

Suddenly, Diana's voice echoed from the kitchen, "When should I call them?"

"7 will be perfect," DK shouted back, chuckling at the sound of Diana's laughter reverberating throughout the mansion.

In the laundry room, DK retrieved his blazer and noticed a smirk forming on his lips. With a mischievous glint in his eyes, he plucked one button, the middle one, from the blazer.

[Haunting Past]

The sound of the clock echoed with every breath Dunter took.

Standing atop the school roof, Dunter had made his plan. It was a grim plan, to end his life from the school roof. Being a private school, the responsibility would fall on the institution for his demise.

Down below, students rushed in excitement towards their homes, eager for a warm meal. But on the backside of the roof, someone was poised to give up on life.

Before that moment...

[Knock, knock]

The door opened, revealing a woman with disheveled hair, dry lips, and dark circles under her eyes. She spotted a familiar figure and smiled, "Oh, Hunter... Aren't you Hunter? Why... after so long."

"I'm Dunter, actually... Mom," Dunter corrected.

His mother's smile slowly faded, "Dunter? You're Dunter? What are you doing here at this hour?"

Dunter entered the house, stating, "Mom, I need money."

His mother's expression turned tense, and she exclaimed, "What? Why do you need money? Go live alone in the city since you left me already."

Dunter noticed bottles of alcohol scattered around the room. He replied, "What, Mother? Didn't you let me go to the city by yourself? Or did you forget?"

His mother erupted in anger, hurling glass bottles of alcohol. "Even my own son speaks to me like others do," she cried out. Tears streamed down her face. "Are you calling me psycho, like others do? Are you saying I have a disease of forgetting things?"

As the bell rang, its chime blending with the wind, students raced home for a hot meal. Everyone was in high spirits, some in duos, others in squads like Diana. But on the roof of the school, Dunter stood at the edge of the building, contemplating his fate.

Dunter's tears streamed down his face, dripping from the roof to the ground below. He couldn't help but think, "My mother's health is deteriorating even further. The doctors say she needs brain surgery due to her mental breakdown after Father left us shattered. And today, I realized my mother needs money more than I do. I have to save her now. But the reality is, it's hard for me to save my own body."

In that moment, a realization struck Dunter. He had to save his mother; he couldn't give in to thoughts of ending his life. And with that resolve, he made a decision to drop out of school.

As the clock struck 7 pm, DK lay in bed, staring at the ceiling with airpods in his ears.

Tommy's voice came through the airpods, "Boston, but bu-[Laughing] I think your hair is growing little by little."

The door of the mansion swung open, revealing Rose, Haikyu, Tommy, Boston.

Boston commented, "Of course it will, since I'm using an expensive medicine."

Tommy interjected, "It's more like drugs."

Boston and Tinni entered DK and Diana's mansion.

Boston defended himself, saying, "It's not drugs. I have a timetable. At 7:15 pm and 10 am, it's finasteride."

Meanwhile, DK smiled and laughed, twirling the button of his blazer between his fingers. He removed his airpods and remarked, "So it's finasteride."

Dang!"

The bedroom door swung open forcefully, revealing Diana clad in a red one-piece outfit. She called out for DK, but he was nowhere to be seen. "DK? Babe, where are you?" she shouted.

Just then, the restroom door creaked open, and DK emerged, looking dapper in a black suit. Diana was taken aback, blushing at the sight. She chuckled, "You look great. Let's go."

DK returned the compliment, "You too look great," as he offered her his hand. Together, they descended the stairs to the dining table, where their friends were already seated, waiting for them beneath a grand chandelier.

Once seated, Diana introduced DK to her friends, and he shook hands with each of them. While Diana took her seat, DK briefly disappeared into the kitchen.

In his absence, the others began teasing Diana. Tinni remarked, "Wow, so you live here like a princess. It makes me wonder why you aren't with Haikyu." Diana muttered under her breath, "He must be lucky, right?"

Laughter erupted from Tinni, Tommy, and Rose, frustrating Diana. She snapped at them, "Shut up! Don't mess with my head."

Tinni continued teasing, "You look so fake when you're with him. Don't you find it hard being fake, or is it just like filming?" Tommy chimed in with a TikTok dance, singing about money.

Angrily, Diana retorted, "Stop with your nonsense. Do you want to reveal yourselves?" Boston interjected, urging them to stop, while Diana questioned why they had come to disrupt her home.

Rose laughed, saying Diana looked fake in her mansion. Tommy added, "Yeah, God is so unfair."

Diana lashed out, calling Tommy and Tinni "black beans" and insulting their upbringing. Tinni's face turned red with anger, but before Diana could continue, DK emerged with a tray of wine glasses.

He distributed the wine and took a seat beside Diana, bringing everyone together at the table. As DK watched closely, Tommy's lips stained black from the wine, he couldn't help but reflect on their presence, likening them to axes that forget their victims, while he remained the wounded tree seeking revenge.

Tommy suddenly vomited, causing a commotion at the room.
