Chapter 50

Ethan couldn't stop looking at the pictures in the box and wondering how the person had gotten past the security before leaving the box. He combed through his apartment to make sure nothing was missing and when he was certain that everything else was intact, he sat down.

His phone suddenly rang out and when he picked up, he heard Loretta's beautiful voice on the other end.

“Hello partner, are you back to the villa?” He asked, trying not to sound disturbed.

“No, of course not. You promised to come back for me, remember?”

“Yeah, I know and I will. Don't tell me you miss me already.”

“I think it's the other way around. I think you miss me and that's why you asked if I was back to the villa,” she smiled as she cunningly turned his question around.

Samantha suddenly walks in, slamming the door hard behind her.

“Who was that?” Ethan asked.

“My sister. She just got back from who knows where. She's really getting more weird by the day,” there was so much concern in her voice.
