Chapter 57: No Malice

Evan and Elias chuckled as they drove through the dimly lit streets, the distant hum of the radio filling the silence between them.

"Can you believe Leo's reaction?" Evan exclaimed, shaking his head in disbelief.

"He was fuming when he found out I helped Mr. Sanchez out."

Elias smirked, glancing over at his friend.

"Well, what did he expect, Boss? Mr. Sanchez is in trouble, and you were the only one who could help him out. Leo should be thanking you."

Evan nodded, a determined glint in his eye.

"I know, but that's just the kind of guy Leo is. Always looking out for himself, no matter who he steps on in the process."
