Everyone at the meeting was quite confused as to what exactly was going on. The new shareholder had walked into the meeting with sunglasses and a mask. Edmund felt happy. He had been looking for a way to humiliate Lola in front of the new shareholder while also making himself look like a diligent mentor and sales director. Lola was on her way back to her office when her phone rang with a birthday ringtone. She quickly retrieved the phone to lower the volume as other employees around that area had been disturbed by it.Lola smiled awkwardly at them. “Sorry, just ignore it.” She checked the notification on her phone and a bright smile lit up her face. “It’s Dad’s birthday already? Once they were inside the office, Miles gave the manager a few more instructions which involved overseeing the performance of each department in the company. The step towards elevating the status of Styleon Group Corporation was a big vision, and for that dream to come true, every single employee needed to put in their best. This was why Miles had compensated them with a raise and special additions in the benefits section.

The shop owner, Theo Good, had accepted his faith. He was an archeologist in his youth who used to work with a big archeology company. Throughout his life, he had seen various items and treasures that he had appraised well and he had been commended for them. Unfortunately, he quit working with the company due to various conflicts arising as the year went by. Also, he was getting older and wanted to live life according to his desires. Thus, after leaving the archeology company, he opened this shop where he would sell items that he occasionally found whenever he was on private excavations with his acquaintances in the archeology circle. So even though he wasn’t working at the archeology company anymore due to his old age, he was still very much involved in the profession of appraising items.
