Markus understood Finn's worries, but he remained hopeful. "If we work together, we can show the people that dragons are more than just fearsome creatures. They are intelligent and majestic beings, deserving of our respect and admiration. With time and effort, we can change the way people see dragons, and make the world a better place for all."

In his own words, Finn's conditions were as follows: He would agree to help the alliance, and to bring the dragons together under one banner. In return, the alliance would promise to leave him and the dragons alone once the conflict was over, and to allow them to return to their isolated home. They would have no further demands or expectations of him or the dragons.

It was a bold request, but Markus and Elliot could see where he was coming from. They needed to find a way to make this work, or risk losing their best chance at victory.
