CHAPTER 668

After the meals, Rebecca seemed fine, but Benjamin wasn’t looking happy because the food didn't taste good to his tongue. He couldn’t even call it average. And he wasted 500 dollars for unappetizing food which only looked good for the eyes but not for any other senses.

The bill was 494 dollars.

Benjamin gave the waiter five hundred dollars.

It felt too little.

The waiter made Benjamin aware of his disappointment with his subtle gesture.

Benjamin patted the waiter’s shoulder and said, “Don’t see it as six dollars. See it as six hundred cents. Then you’ll unravel the mystery of money.”

“Mystery?”

“That one dollar to you is a hundred dollars to someone else,” Benjamin said. “One can even tell where the wind comes and goes, but who can tell where the fortune comes and goes?” Saying that he walked away.
