“I need assistance” Damien yelled as he carried Joanna into the reception of the local hospital

The nurses quickly made a wheeled bed available for Joanna. Damien followed them but they stopped him at the door of the ward. He did not argue and stayed back to wait for them.

A doctor was quickly called upon and she rushed into the ward to check on her. Damien blamed himself for what had happened as if he had insisted when he noticed her being sick to bring her to the hospital then it would have not been this worse now.

Joanna was barely breathing when he drove her out of the house and only he knew how scared he was as he drove as fast as he could, calling out to her to wake up but there was no response from her.
