chapter thirty

I looked before me, and I saw a bold figure getting out of the car. The light flashed towards me, making it impossible for me to see who it was. "You need to get out of here, Evelyn. I can't protect you while I try to fight off this thing." I said, gently looking at her face.

Evelyn wanted to stay, but my voice changed as my reaper form came out of my body. "Go! Know!" I shouted at her, and she ran off like some scared rabbit. I didn't mean to frighten her, though.

"I can see you have finally come to get fused with your inner powers." The voice came to me, and I wondered who it was.

The demon had glowing eyes, and I knew it was not just any demon. Most of the demons came by smell. They remind me of her levels, and by now I know which is which.
