Chapter 9 - The Exchange of Life

It's all Richard's calculation of when he should shut up and when he should act. He saw Bryant off guard because of what he said. His stealthy hands behind his back, quickly snatched the gun from Bryant's hand—pulling Bryant into the hostage he showed in front of Bryant's men.

Everyone panicked as Bryant was caught up in a fast loop around by the arms and eyes of a gun pointed right at their leader's head. They're preparing to shoot Richard immediately if anything happens to their leader.

"DO NOT MOVE!" cried Bryant as he fired a bullet into the sky to give a warning.

"If you move then, his life is at stake!"

When he is taken hostage until his own life is at stake, Bryant still laughs at Richard's persistence that he truly wants the God's Coin.

"Why are you laughing, asshole?!"

Breathing heavily after a laugh Bryant said, "In this world you're the dumbest human I've ever met. Do you believe what grandpa said? Destiny? God's just messing with us, stupid?"
