Chapter 26: Her Absence

The driver had finally gotten to the hospital, but the pressure he felt was real. His heart drummed loudly, and he didn't know what else to do.

The nurses who had seen him drive in, rushed towards them with a stretcher bed.

“Sir well take it from here,”

They replied, helping her to the stretcher beds with a worried look on their faces.

“You should fill up the form at the receptionist while we'll get her ready to meet the doctor. Don't worry, she'll be fine.”

He nodded to her words, and rushed to the receptionist who handed him a form to fill about her.

He filled her name, current address, status, etc. some of the vital info he didn't know, he left it blank.

”I don't know the rest,”

The young lady smiled. “No worries, this is enough.”

Once that was done, the driver, who didn't want to lose his job, rushed after her. However, he wasn't allowed into the ER.

At this point, they needed to stabilise her.

He sat outside, packing back, and forth as he watched a batch of doctors rush in.
