"Mother, it just occurred to me we didn't come with a gift for Moore Michigan. What if someone calls us out? I mean, we're sitting in the front row where everyone has their eyes on." She couldn't take it any longer and turned to her mother worriedly.

Matilda subtly waved her aside.

"What do you think we could've brought for him that he doesn't already have? Finding Charles Wilkins is the only thing we can do now because he's distinguished, and everyone will look up to us enviously when they realize we're about to become family with him."
