Chapter 11

The guy in the car pooped his head in, adjusted his glasses, rolled up the car glass and zoomed off.

Jones was mad at the unknown guy in the car. Each strand of hair on his body rose up. He looked back at Lana who had insulted; she was no more at sight.

The anger in him was aggravated by that stranger who came shouting at him. Did he really know who he was talking to? And who is he to threaten him? Or who sent him that gave him the confidence?

Those questions rushed to his mind. He thought, as he was walking down the road, people wanted to know his might…

He would show his might to those who call for it. He finalized.

He had messaged two of his bouncers to come and pick him immediately and the guy zoomed off.

A glittering gold SUV car rushed down towards him from the back. One of the onlookers who had witnessed what happened earlier thought the car wanted to knock him down and quickly shouted, “They are behind you watch out, poor man!”

Jones turned back. Instead of knocking him, the car stopped suddenly.

Two bouncers jumped down it and bow to him. “We seek your mercies if we are late, master!” They said rigorously.

The man who shouted before was so surprised at the display. He thought who this man could be that looked poor some minutes ago but not now.

Jones had entered the car. He was contemplating about the guy in the car. I wanted to know how to make him smell himself.

Suddenly, the image of someone came to his mind. Except the glasses that made the guy slightly recognisable, the voice matches someone who is familiar.

“It's Sam.” He said

The bouncer at the owner’s side turned to Jones at the back and said, with readiness for action, “Do you need anything, Boss?”

“Yes, I need Sam’s profile within short minutes.”

“Okay, Sir.”

He took out his supercomputer and punched its keyboard, severely.

“Done, Sir!”

He gave the computer to Jones who scrutinized Sam's profile very well.

“Yes, the guy was Sam. That's good.” He exclaimed.

“From now on, keep your nose to the ground on him. I want him to lick the ground before me.”

“Noted, Sir!”

Truly the guy was Sam. He didn't expect to see him there. He just saw him suddenly and stopped. It seemed Sam had been working on Jones.

Sam concluded that Jones would be too cheap to deal with. Why? Because he saw him by the road side being ridiculed by a common lady.

“No true wealthy person, billionaire or whatever will be insulted like that!” He murmured to himself.

“He will cry for what he did too soon!”

A mental image of realization dawned on him as the dawn descended on the Day.

Sam remembered he saw that lady who embarrassed Jones. “Definitely, that must be his wife. He must have done something dreadful to that lady; maybe that is what he is trying to cover up by begging her.”

He thought further to make some dubious plots about Lana.

“If I can kidnap the lady, she will serve many purposes. She will be used as the factor that prevents him from marriage and becoming the heir. I will then threaten him of revealing his secrets kept with her. If he is obdurate enough to cooperate, and I'm very sure he won't, I will soil his name and family Legacies.”

He laughed villainously and clapped. He is determined to use Drake to execute his hidden agenda.

He grabbed his phone and dialed Drake's phone number.

“Hello.”

“Hello, Sam.” Drake said from the other side.

“I have good news about the dog, Jones.”

“Wow! What is that, buddy?”

“I have seen his wife and where she leaves. So, I have coined out some plans with that opportunity. I will blow your mind when I meet you.”

“That's fantastic! We shall break him down. I will be waiting for you.” He hung up.

“I will show all of you my influence.”

Since Jones was given 3 days and he had 2 days left, Sam vowed to strike a day before the deadline.

Jones decided to kill a snake by cutting off its head. He knew Lana’s parents are ambitious for money. If he tabled the scenario before them, they would never resist the offer.

“Lambo, I want to give Lana and her parents the last chance. Go to her parents with this contract document. If they make her agree to the contract, the attached cheque of $200 million dollars and a mouth tearing mansion at the best estate in Cranfield will be theirs. And the contract price has changed from $300 million dollars to $500 million dollars.”

He gave the papers to Lambo who collected it with a total encomium.

She would be taken out for an expensive shopping trip and given a grandeur ride to Jones mansion once she agreed. New and unexpected joyous life awaited Lana, only if her fate gave in.

“Note this before you go, Lambo.” Jones said vehemently. Lambo stopped and listened like a criminal expecting the judge’s verdict.

“If they refuse, get ready to clear off their houses and make bloody tears off their eyes.”

Lambo nodded with maximum understanding and left.

After 5 minutes, Lambo called Jones to narrate the unpleasant experience he had with Lana's.

Once he mentioned Jones to Lana and her parents, without being given the chance to deliver the message, both Lana and her mother, Bella, assaulted him and poured water on him.

Lana’s father, Gesh, made his own contribution by kicking in the face. Though Lambo was skillful in martial arts and boxing, he attempted not to get revenge because of Jones.

If not for Jones’ sake, his wife and in-laws had bitten more than what they could chew. He should have called their brains to reality.

“I feel sorry for you, Lambo. Now that they have decided what they want, leave them until tomorrow morning, 8:00 AM, to apologize. If they don't swallow their vomit, you know what to do?”

“Yes, master. They will have much to harvest.”

“Good! Let's wait and watch then.”

“As you please, Sir.
