Chapter 53

He loved the terror he saw in the President's eyes. He could feel him trembling, and that was what he wanted to do to manipulate him to step down.

"Can you not see that the citizens are suffering? They have you as a President, but they are dying. People are terrorizing the city, causing havoc and insecurities. What are you going to do about it?" The chief minister said, tucking his hands into his pockets.

The President lowered his head, his eyes darting as he felt weak. The chief minister was, indeed, right. He was the president of Castle City, yet he could do nothing about the insecurities of the citizens in the city.

He could not even stop the terrorist group. How then was he worthy to be called the President, when he had failed the people that were looking up to him for safety?
