Lyra’s mood lifted immediately she entered the hall. The stunning chandelier hanging above the ceiling, the clinking of glasses and the cherry chatter of people made her smile from ear to ear.

“Brian” she whispered, her gaze sparkling with warmth as she stared at him. Although her husband, Brian was lacking in some areas, she was still quite satisfied. The reason why she stayed with him till this present moment was because of his pure heart. While everyone's heart in the business world was completely poisoned, Brian was different.

Brian's eyes slid towards Lyra, his face lighting up with a smile, “You see, I told you this evening would be worthwhile.” he said. Lyra giggled, her eyes twirling in delight, “Brian, I'm only here because I trust you. Don't make me regret it, okay?”

Brian nodded in approval as he pulled her close, his eyes locked on hers.

Harry watched from the side as Brian and Lyra acted intimately, their eyes holding a thousand emotions. He tried to control his anger
