107 - Closer

The next day, Samantha and Theodore were picked up by Preston. Preston drove Samantha first to Heather's company before returning to Haw & Co. They didn't talk much on the way; there was just an appointment made for tonight.

"Samantha, are you busy tonight?" Theodore asked once Samantha was out of the car door.

"No."

"I want to take you to dinner." Theodore said it in a gentle tone that would melt any woman's heart.

"Okay."

"I'll pick you up at 7 p.m."

Samantha nodded her head and smiled a little. Samantha closed her car door and walked into her company. Meanwhile, Theodore's car pulled out onto the highway.

"After the office closes, you can go straight home." Theodore told Preston.

"Yes, sir." Preston nodded his head and knew why Theodore had asked that.

Arriving at the company, Theodore went straight upstairs, had meetings, and completed other tasks. Theodore had never felt so focused at work. He savored every second until it was finally time to go home.
