109 - Run Away

Every two hours, Theodore checked Samantha's temperature, which was slowly dropping. Theodore also woke Samantha up to eat and take her medication. Samantha was able to open her eyes wide enough, although she still spoke little.

"That's it," Samantha said, refusing the fifth bite from the spoon Theodore gave her.

"One more after that." Theodore coaxed Samantha like a child.

"My mouth doesn't feel good." Samantha still refused.

"Hm, come on just once, and then that's it." Theodore opened his own mouth as if setting an example for Samantha.

Samantha turned her face away and refused. Theodore finally gave in and placed the plate of porridge on the nightstand. Theodore then took two pills and a glass of water.

"Drink up," Theodore coaxed gently.

Samantha took it and drank it in one gulp. Theodore tidied up the tableware that Samantha had just used. Samantha was still sitting on the pillow, looking at Theodore, who was busy.
