“Theo, are you okay?” Samantha asked again, waving her hand in front of Theodore's face.

Theodore, who realized this, immediately blinked his eyes and replied to Samantha's words. “Grandma is waiting at the dining table.”

“Okay, I just finished. Sorry for the wait,” Samantha explained quickly before following Theodore to the dining table.

The three of them ate a delicious dinner with some small talk to get to know each other. Grandma looked happy that she finally had a friend to chat with today.

“Is grandma alone every day?”

“Yes, there is no one to talk to. But there are usually grandma's friends here in the afternoon or evening for tea or snacks.” Grandma explained this to Theodore.

“Thank goodness then; Theo is happy to hear that.”

“In the past, Sammy used to come here to keep Grandma company, but after his mama passed away, Sammy rarely came here.” Grandma looked at Samantha with a small smile.

“I'm sorry, Grandma,” Samantha said while trying to reach Grandma's hand and stroking t
