Christine was very grateful that Abigail was sincere in helping her, even though she had not had contact with her best friend for a long time.

"What work plans do you have here in Wiltshire, Chris?" Abigail asked while they were sitting in the garden behind Abigail's house.

"I don't know yet, Abs! Karel has detained my diploma, so I can't work in an office anymore!" Christine said.

"How about I find you a job? But you know how it is to work in a small town," said Abigail.

"I don't mind manual labor, Abs! As long as it can provide for me and my two children, that's a blessing for me!"

"Where do you work, Abs?" Christine asked.

"I'm just a guard at an apartment at the end of town!" Abigail answered.

"Is there an empty apartment where you work, Abs? Maybe when I'm already working, I'll just move into that apartment! I can see you every day, Abs!" Christine said.
