Chapter 256: END

Arthur rolled his eyes, looking coldly at the abyss being consumed by the flames. 

When he saw that the tearful pleas were in vain, in the final moments, all that remained from the abyss's mouth were curses.

But Arthur paid no attention; this time, the abyss had to die and, furthermore, die in an entirely new way. 

The abyss's body quickly turned into dust, but Arthur's flames didn't stop. 

This was because there was still a dark mist writhing madly there—this was the true nature of the abyss.

Finally, Arthur stood, watching the flames burning vigorously for almost thirty minutes. 

By now, the abyss had completely perished. 

Arthur wasn't faring much better; he had almost lost his life.

His face was as pale as paper, and his lips lacked any trace of color.
