[Points: 100]

Sean continued to stare at the screen in front of him. He still didn't understand. Where did he get those points from? This was something new to him.

"Did I get points for paying the rent and spending the money given by the system?"

Sean looked at his new glasses. If it was true that he got the points for using the money, then it would be easy for him. After all, who in the world doesn't like spending money?

But in a way, Sean felt strange. The name of this system was the Natural Power Control System, and the name of the mission he had to carry out was the Natural Balance Mission.

Could money bring nature into balance?

If he thought about it, it made little sense. He was treated unfairly because he had no money. Then once he had money, people would be a little nicer to him.

"That's right! Money can balance nature." Sean said with confidence.

He glanced at the wound on his hand. The blood was no longer flowing. The wound wasn't too bad, but it still hurt.

Nevertheless, Sean didn't want to bother. He was sure the system would heal it tomorrow. Anyway, drowsiness suddenly struck. Sean decided to sleep on the couch.

At exactly five in the morning, Sean woke up from his sleep. He immediately checked the wound on his hand and grimaced in pain.

"Why is that wound still there?" Sean wondered to himself.

This was not like last night. The wound was not healing. Although compared to the monster's scratch wound back then, the current wound was not so serious. However, why wasn't it healing?

"Do I have to be seriously injured for it to be healed by the system?"

Sean shook his head, "No. That's not possible."

He was overwhelmed with curiosity. This system was not as simple as he thought. After all, it did sound strange that his wounds could heal without medical assistance. Whoever knew this, must have been experimented on.

"Maybe that's not how it works." Sean exhaled roughly.

Then Sean went to the bathroom. He quickly cleaned himself up and treated his wound. If he knew it would be like this, he should have done so when he came home yesterday afternoon.

Sean changed his clothes. He was all dressed up and ready to go to campus this morning.

Feeling hungry, Sean decided to stop by a fast food restaurant. It was his regular place.

There, he felt like he was treated like a human being. The people in this place were quite friendly. Occasionally, the owner even gave him free bread or drinks.

Finished with his food, Sean continued his journey. He didn't want to miss the subway to Kingdom University.

It was quite crowded like any other day. Sean sat not far from the exit. Right next to a pretty girl with thick makeup.

The girl seemed to be the same age as Sean. He had also seen her several times in the same train carriage. But every time he got out of the train, Sean never saw her again. The girl just seemed to disappear.

When he got out of the carriage, Sean saw a middle-aged woman running in fear. The woman bumped into Sean and they both fell.

The man chasing the woman also stopped. His body was fat and made Sean a little scared. The man was breathing heavily. His face looked red with anger.

"Damn woman, how dare you run away from me!" the man shouted.

He walked up to the woman and pulled her hair. The woman could only cry and be in pain.

Without pity. Without feeling ashamed of the people around them. The man hit the woman quite hard.

The woman's body swayed towards Sean. Reflexively, Sean held her back. What he did made the man even angrier.

"You! Leave my wife alone!" the man shouted.

Sean was silent. He looked at the two in turn. Were they a married couple?

"Young man, help me. He keeps torturing me."

The woman looked terrified. She held Sean's hand very tightly, but her husband immediately pulled it away roughly.

"You unlucky woman! Who do you think is going to help you? Only I have the right to you!"

The man took his wife away by dragging her.

The woman kept crying and asking for help. However, no one wanted to help her. Everyone just glanced at her, felt sorry for her for a moment, and then went about their business.

Such was life in several cities in Silentfort, including the city of Yulricia, where Sean was born. There were not a few cases of domestic violence released by the government. The level of patriarchy here was still very high.

Not a few of the married couples divorced. Many also experience violence in public places. Like what this woman experienced.

Our highly individualistic society makes this a frequent, and often tragic, occurrence. They don't want to interfere because they feel it's none of their business.

"Stop it!" shouted Sean. They were only about five meters apart.

The angry man stopped what he was doing. He glanced at Sean. His face was red with anger.

"Did you just yell at me?" the man asked.

"She is your wife. Why were you so cruel to her?"

Sean didn't care about the man's anger. Even though the man was much bigger than him. He didn't care. His pity for the woman made him act recklessly. He also felt disgusted and thought of himself.

The students often noticed him when he was bullied by Arnold. None of them took the initiative to help him. Some of them even enjoyed it.

What she was experiencing now was the same. She needed help, but no one heard her. It was like they were suddenly deaf.

Sean knew how that felt.

Some of them might try to help by calling the police. However, sometimes it didn't help much.

"You'd better stay out of this, young man! This is our family business!" the man said.

He was about to walk back, but Sean's words stopped him.

"I won't interfere in your family affairs. But the violence you've committed is also unjustified."

Some people paused for a moment. They were curious about Sean's next move. If they got into a fight, it was obvious that Sean would have the most to lose.

"Violence? What do you know about violence?"

The man released his grip from his wife's arm. He rolled up his sleeves and walked towards Sean.

Sean was stunned. He was not afraid. For the first time, he dared to face another person in a crowd.

His resolve was made up. He didn't want to be bullied again, or see others being bullied in the crowd.

The man continued to rant and demonize his wife. He also accused Sean of being one of her mistresses.

His wife tried to stop him but ended up getting hit again. She fell to the floor and was in pain.

The man became even angrier. He lunged at Sean and was about to hit him. Fortunately, Sean was able to dodge at the last second. Otherwise, he would have lost one of his teeth.

"You bastard! You're just lucky, young man!"

The man looked even angrier. He was about to throw a punch at Sean when the voices of several people interrupted the two. The man immediately stopped his actions and looked towards the source of the sound.

Two women and three men were walking towards them. Sean didn't recognize any of them, but he had a feeling that he had seen the pins attached to their lapels. At the same time, the fat man looked very frightened at the arrival of the five people.
