GIVEN OUT OF LOVE

Mary opened the bathroom door for Alexander, revealing what the room he was supposed to freshen up looked like

“Here you go, Alexander.” Mary said, gesturing at the inside of the bathroom “I know it’s smaller than what someone like you is used to but I hope you don’t mind it that much”

Because of the fact that Alexander, without a second thought, was able to give her fifty thousand dollars for her granddaughter’s ransom and also return her granddaughter to her in a luxurious sports car, her impression of him cemented on the idea that he was from a very wealthy family.

As such, it meant that the bathroom he was accustomed to using was massive— at least three times the size of hers— and well-designed, unlike hers which was nothing special.

Now, though she was wrong about thinking that Alexander was from a rich family, her assumption of the type of bathroom he was used to wasn’t wrong because the Dove family servants had rooms and bathrooms better than most people in the general public.
