WELCOME BACK

“Blessing!” Mary cried, walking slowly to her granddaughter because her hurting back prevented her from moving as fast as she wanted.

“Grandma!” Blessing cried as she ran to her grandmother who had her arms spread wide open and was waiting to welcome her.

The two ladies hugged each other, crying their eyes out in relief that Blessing was back home and she was safe and sound.

“How are you? Stay still lemme me check” Mary said then started to check all over the parts of Blessing’s body that she could see.

“I hope those bad people didn’t do anything to hurt you or touched you inappropriately, or worse, force themselves on you. I’ll never forgive them for what they made you go through” Mary said and finally finished her check.

All she saw was the spot on Blessing’s face that the Kingpin had slapped, the bruise on the girl’s neck from when the Kingpin had used her as a hostage, threatening to break her neck if Alexander moved and her bruised lip from biting the Kingpin’s hand.
