CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

He sat in a bar as he enjoyed a cap of beer he ordered. After everything that he just went through, he decided to take some of the pressure out, and he thought it best to go to a bar.

After taking a few shots, he could barely walk, and then a woman walked over and helped him when he nearly fell on the table.

“There you go,” she spoke with a constricted voice. “I think you need to stop taking this now,” she said and took the bottle of beer from him. “I will pay you,” she said and gave money to the bartender before she walked in outside the bar. “Can you remember where your place is?” She asked as they stopped. “Or what car you came in?” She added, trying to make him look at her. “And you smell,” she said.

He tried looking as much as he could have managed, but he could barely make out her face. All he knew was she had a British accent, and that was that. Also, her hair was long because it kept blushing his face as she carried him to the car.
