My vision became blurry and I felt like leaving my body as blood flowed from my wound. I looked at the fire demon and I saw a sinister smile on his face. The restaurant door flanged open and I saw Derrick and his minions enter the room and the fight began. I fell to the floor bleeding out while Evelyn ran to my side and had her hand pressed on the wound. "Max, stay with me," she shouted hitting me in the face.

I felt this was it, I was finally going to meet my parents but then I remembered their spirit was still trapped. I needed to free them if I want to ever see them again. Zoey ran to my side and looked at me. " You never cease to amaze me, Max Kraus. You have no powers and yet you are bold enough to take on a level 2 fire demon." She said looking at me

Zoey placed her hands on my wound and tried I heal me but it wasn't working. " He is not heating!" She shouted to Derrick who immediately left Gilbert with the fire demon.
