Chapter Fifty Two

Sheila bit down on her lower lip hard enough to draw blood, her face was scrunched up into a worried frown and her eyes wide and looking around the room frantically. She glanced at the blank screen of her phone screen lying on her bed, she had been holding it minutes ago while she was on a call with Frank who had put her in this tense mood when he told her over the phone that he had big news for her and from the tone of his voice, Sheila suspected the big news wasn't a happy news. She glanced nervously at the door expecting it to be pushed open any moment from now but the more seconds the door stayed closed the more her anxiety grew.
