Looking into Alex's eyes, Paulina was filled with a mix of emotions. She couldn't resist being drawn to him but felt obligated to keep her promise to Andrew and see John Davis. "I believe I can handle it without assistance, Alex," Paulina eventually replied, ending the strong eye contact they were sharing. "It appears to be a private issue involving your grandfather and myself." She said she was gently pulling her face away from him. Paulina was not prepared to exceed the boundary she had established for herself.
